About Betty

Betty Galindo is a Mexican-American actor, writer, and singer/songwriter based out of Madrid. She was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, where she discovered her passion for storytelling and developed her craft in classical voice.

Betty is a Lin-Manuel Miranda Fellow, and trained at the two-time tony award winning Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, where she participated in the Theatermakers Intensive program. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.F.A in Acting. Her additional training includes improv at The Groundlings, studying with Lesly Kahn & Co. in Los Angeles, and with The Acting Studio Madrid located in Madrid, Spain.

Betty Galindo has also starred in “Cigarettes After Dark,” which was nominated as “Best Short” and premiered at the Beverly Hills Films Festival and Mexican-American Television & Film Festival.
