About Betty
Betty Galindo is a Mexican-American actor, writer, and singer/songwriter based out of Madrid. She was born and raised in San Francisco, CA, where she discovered her passion for storytelling and developed her craft in classical voice.
Betty is a Lin-Manuel Miranda Fellow, and trained at the two-time tony award winning Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, where she participated in the Theatermakers Intensive program. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.F.A in Acting. Her additional training includes improv at The Groundlings, and studying with Lesly Kahn & Co. in Los Angeles.
Currently, Betty Galindo starred in “Cigarettes After Dark,” which was nominated as “Best Short” and premiered at the Beverly Hills Films Festival and Mexican-American Television & Film Festival.
